Review of Women’s Nike Free 5.0 My daughter loves the Nike Free’s. They came brand new in box and exactly as described. They fit my daughter pretty well and they look really nice. Now, I might be a little picky in mentioning this, but if I am going to pay $112 for a pair of shoes I want them done right! It seems to me that Nike is getting a little sloppy with the gluing on the shoes. For some reason, on these shoes, I could see the glue. It wasn’t all over the shoe, but I could definitely see it around the areas that the shoe was glued. I thought this was very sloppy of Nike. But…overall…..the shoe is a good fit and looks nice. Also, Nike shoes usually run pretty small and narrow (at least for my foot). I was very surprised to see this shoe so wide. I enjoyed seeing that as now I might purchase a pair for me. The size I purchased was a 9.5 for my daughter. The shoe was pretty wide and my daughter said they felt nice and fit her foot perfectly.

Not the same as the old 5.0, and lower quality First, the fit: order 1/2 size up, and they will fit perfectly. (I take a 5 in pretty much everything, and need a 5.5 in these). Second, my review is somewhat biased, because I’m comparing them to the OLD Free 5.0. I loved the old 5.0s, they were incredibly comfortable and provided fantastic stability while still feeling like wearing nothing. They were a great compromise for my particular feet, I have tendonitis (needing stability) and ITBS (needing minimalism).
