Runs narrow and small – Order full size up from street shoes and consider width carefully! I ordered these shoes online and they have a very interesting fit. They seem to run very narrow and short. Usually a 7 C/D is more than plenty for my feet but my toes were too close to the edge and the width seemed more like a narrow – and I got a wide shoe! The heel area feels very built up as far as the upper goes – a lot of material and thickness and surrounding your ankle. There seems like addition material to keep your foot in the heel and that produces a very odd fit that did not bother me but it was absolutely noticeable. I did a little jog and they felt pretty comfortable but my foot felt pretty constricted. The overlays did not create hot spots. The shoe is fairly heavy – but lighter than the Kayano or Cumulus (both of which I’ve worn in the 7 C/D size). The cushioning in the heels seems more than adequate and the ball of foot cushion was most welcomed. I will update with more distance information once I’ve gotten the larger 7.5 C/D size. Compared to GT-2000 v1 Used to wear the GT-2000 v1 (this is v3) – upgraded to this. Same size, a bit smaller than expected but still think this is the best running shoe with arch support.

Come On Asics!! I’ve been wearing Asics for running for about 15 years and have always been extremely satisfied. Lately though, I’ve been terribly disappointed mainly because of the sizing issues.
