Great Taste, A Little Complicated I’ll start by saying, the food in this book is amazing. Out-of-this-world good. I live in Portland, the mecca of all things vegan, and my non-vegan friends have been clawing at my door to eat these recipes instead of eating out. It is some hearty, delicious stuff.

Clean eating cookbook I’ve been following the web site for about a year. Thought I’d pick up a copy of the actual cookbook to give as a wedding gift, and I would just copy some of the recipes for myself. Well guess what, I just f**king ordered another copy for me! That’s right, it’s that good…and entertaining to boot.

PJ says:

I so wanted to like this, I really did…. I’ve had this since it came out and have now tried enough recipes from it to be able to give it a fair review. I need to preface this by saying I had only ever tried one recipe from their blog before, and found it okay but not special, so I actually didn’t quite know what to expect or if I already liked their stuff. I find the swearing hilarious and that is what sold me on it; it’s different and it has an edge to it and it’s not all esoteric or preachy, which also attracted me to it. Plus they don’t rely on a ton of obscure or expensive ingredients which I really appreciate and need for a day-to-day cookbook.
